Chicken Coop Plans

We were cleaning out under the deck today and there was several large pieces of wood. Greg wanted to burn them, but they are in good shape so I suggested saving them for a chicken coop. So I thought I would go on google and look for plans. The cooperative extension sites of Virginia and Cornell are really good places to start. I think this information should be free so I don’t like those sites that charge for plans. Come on, you can go down to the local library and check out a book.chicken_coop On a side note: there is a cool 4-H virtual farm that talks about the life stages of a chicken.

I also found a great blog that details a family’s experience starting a chicken flock. It’s called Pluck and Feather.

I am not satisfied still…. I will have to keep looking.
